Ghost Cytometry
for Functional Genomics Screening

Introduction:
Functional genomics requires a rapid and unbiased screening platforms to identify phenotypic changes after genetic manipulation. Here we show the use of VisionSort, powered by Ghost Cytometry (GC) technology, as a novel approach to enable phenotypic screening in flow using NFkB translocation as a model phenotype.
Summary:
- VisionSort can create machine learning models to recognize specialized molecular phenotypes
- VisionSort was able to create a machine learning model to identify known mediators of NFkB signalling in a proof-of-concept CRISPR screen
- VisionSort enables functional genomics screening without the need for single cell plating – significantly increasing throughput and reducing time to results
